What happened previously: In the last episode of One Piece we saw Luffy get beat down by the two snake sisters whom he'll be up against again in One Piece episode 414. Luffy wonders why he is beaten up with only two blows, as Luffy is rubber, this usually doesn't happen to him.
However, what he's not aware of is that the two snake sisters are using a power known as "Haki" to defeat him. They try to make things worse for Luffy and make him suffer more by going to margarette and trying to break her stone body in which she was encased. Luffy pleaded with the two snake sisters not too, but they didn't listen to him.
The pair were just about to break margarette Luffy let out his loud cry that shocked and stunned everyone in the area. Everyone was affected, except the snake sisters and the old hag. They had no idea that Luffy possessed such powers, however nor does he.
