Lonely Planet has held a competition “Best travel photography” to celebrate its 100 millionth guidebook. Opened on January 29th, 2010, tourists all over the world including Iraq, Antarctica, North Korea and Afghanistan have upload more than 130,000 images to the Lonely Planet site. It is estimated that over one million visitors have viewed the exhibition on the Internet. This is also an opportunity for everyone to travel around the world through photos. An Indian 33-year-old photographer named Sreesailam Pasupula from Mumbai became the winner with an impressive photograph in which five girls are performing on stage at Pushkar ka Mela in Rajasthan, India. That is considered to be the largest camel fair in the world. As the winner, Pasupula was awarded with a world-round trip for two people.
